My right leg has been giving me so much trouble, I wanted to check to see if I was doing something wacky when I was planting. Looks pretty even to me but chime in experts!

Don't tell my grandma, but I run in the dark streets of nyc a lot. In fact, I literally ran errands before the sun came up this morning. Of all of the places I've ever been, I think it's the safest city to run in at almost any hour because there are almost always people and lights surrounding you. But you still have to be careful and be alert if you're running in the dark hours. I've made a guide to help you get your miles in on the concrete streets of NYC.

1st Half Marathon - Brooklyn 5-12-12

A beautiful 9+-mile route on the beach in Miami. Don't be fooled by the photo though, the post-Sandy wind was killer.

Ran a 5k with some excellent @gotri ladies today on Randall's Island today. Go St. John's!

This morning started with "I'm lazy. I need 15" (to run 10+ miles in the freezing rain?) & ended with me feeding her Chomps I was hiding in my sports bra. Also, my fingers died.

It's marathon week! I'm racing on Sunday, December 9th at the MetroPCS Dallas White Rock marathon. The goal is to run 2:59:59 or faster and raise awareness for Not Alone, a non-profit that raises money for soldiers with PTSD.
